| I did a lot of research and finally settled on the Olevia 532H, mainly because of the price. From what I could tell the feature set was comparable with higher priced name brands but about 30 or 40% less expensive. So far I am extremely happy. The SD picture is an improvement over my 12 year old Sony 27 in. tube (which by the way is still going strong, just relocated to another room). I bought an indoor HD antenna, tuned in the local over-the-air HD channels and it was great. If you are not a videophile or worried about brand names, but just want to get started with a reasonably priced HDTV, you should consider this one. I gave it 5 stars based on value. If I was just considering features, I probably would have gone with 4. |

I have had unit for 90 days, "Love it".. after much research on line finally gave it and ordered for Football season. I did get the new 532H model before much info out on it or it was avaliable everwhere. It was well worth the wait and research. This TV is fantastic, excellent Color, Picture, easy to set up and controls to straight up. The only negative is the lack of manual.. I did download the PDF version from web site but would prefer professonal publication. I did encounter a few OS&?? when connceting to Dish HD box, Non HD Combo DVD and Surrond sound system
But overall fantasitc unit, $ for $ the Olevia is a steal. Amazon.. JR excellent service. |

I bought mine in August and I have been one happy camper. This is our third HDTV, I own one Westinghouse LCD as well as a main plasma.
This unit is a great performer on a variety of sources. Beats the Westy hands down for blacks, contrast, color accuracy etc. The westy has a slighly better manual and slightly better setup menus, but those are one time issues. Side by side on every source: digital hd, progressive and upconverted dvds, sd, gameing systems, etc. I had a scare with sd TV out of my cable box via some real cheap component cables which did not look great, but this went away as soon as I changed to hdmi. (in fact I got some good component cable at monoprice and with those the upped 720 material looks great).
Solid all around performer at a good entry level price. |

| Bought this TV for after researching HDTV LCD's for several months. Was not even considering the Olevia brand until after the Consumer Reports Review came out on this model. The picture using an indoor cheap ($12) HDTV antenna is incredible. We live very close to the TV towers so we pickup all the over the air HDTV channels plus we are picking up SDTV channels we didn't even know were out there. Bought from Amazon as no one else carrys the 5 series yet. Local stores (Compusa, Circuit city) are still selling the 2-4 series and for more money? |
Great TV for the awesome price

I picked this from the Amazon store. The TV has HDMI..TV Tuner and the picture quality can match to any of those pricey Aquos Sharp.
I loved this TV and I watch it from my bed everyday.
