Product Description |
| RCA's 52-inch-diagonal D52W20 widescreen HDTV monitor gives you a smooth, filmlike image when used with a progressive-scan DVD player (or 480p-output DTV set-top box). This projection set includes the latest connectivity: a DVI input with HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), which allows transmission of uncompressed digital video signals from an HDTV set-top box (not included) to the D52W20. Progressive scanning, referred to as 480p for the number of horizontal lines that compose the video image, creates a picture using twice the scan lines of a conventional DVD picture, giving you higher resolution and sharper images while eliminating nearly all motion artifacts. Both of the set's high-definition (1080i/480p) component-video inputs benefit from the Syncroscan system, which automatically performs high-resolution pixel mapping from sources up to SXGA resolution. The resulting screen image has excellent clarity from the highest-resolution sources. Intellifocus auto digital convergence is a menu-accessible feature that automatically optimizes convergence for the sharpest picture possible. The D52W20's 3D Y/C digital frame comb filter further enhances resolution by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line). A dedicated subwoofer output lets you hook up a powered subwoofer (no audio/video receiver required) to beef up the low-end for home-theater thumping. Virtual Dolby simulates surround sound from the set's stereo speakers. |

Very nice set

| This TV has a very nice, classy, understated look about it. The picture and features it has are absolutely amazing. I swapped from a 36" Sony flatscreen and am ecstatic. The picture tube TVs are just too darn HEAVY. You need a forklift every time you want to move it to a different place or perform a thorough cleaning. They are very difficult for 2 people to handle and you really can't use more people because there is not enough room. I can move this set around by myself!! And it is BIGGER! You can keep your large picture tube TVs; the picture is better on this one! |

| I have had my RCA D40W20 for 2 years and it has performed flawlessly! Great HD picture not too bad with SD either. Sounds like I must have received the only working unit! Mine too came from Dishnetwork as a give away for buying their HD-DVR. No complaints with my RCA HDTV. Now, if you want to talk about Dishnetwork, I have many there... |

| Got this TV last July 2003 and have been enjoying it. The picture and sound quality is more than what I expected. I used to own a 27" Zenith and there is just no comparison. I'm recommending this product to everyone. It's worth it. |
Great TV with NO problems for us.

| Had this TV for about 3 to 4 years now. We have never had any problems with it. I love that its easy to move around. I can just pull it out and clean behind it. My old TV was so heavy. The picture is great and the color is true to color. I give it 5 stars. |
Best TV Ever!

My parents bought this same TV back in 2003 for a song at a brick and mortar store. It's now 2009 and the TV still works great. I've never had any problems with it. It works great with the cable line and my computer, has beautiful sound (I adore the Magic setting. It makes you think you have surround sound in your living room!) and nice, clear picture.
I'd definitely buy it again! |
