Toshiba Regza Cell 55×1, LCD TV with Cell Broadband Engine

Toshiba Regza 55×1 Cell surprised everyone by presenting a 55-inch LCD TV with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, whose strength is the ability to exploit the Cell Broadband Engine technology, already present in the PlayStation 3, which allows to view and record up to 8 channels simultaneously on the screen.

Are integrated into the instrument one Opera browser to navigate easily on the Web, a box Over 3 TB of capacity and full compatibility for streaming DLNA and Youtube, as regards the technical details but let us note: LED backlight, contrast ratio 5000000:1, refresh rate of 240 Hz and finally brightness 1250cd/m2.

Price? Toshiba Regza Cell 55×1 will see the light on the Japanese market from December on, they say, about 11,000 $, a figure roughly equal to 7353 euros.
