Dell Latitude XT2 XFR, the notebook tablet shockproof

Dell has announced the release of a new laptop very special: the Dell XFR Latitude XT2 is not only a notebook is not only a tablet but it is also the first multitouch rugged, shock resistant, water at all types of dust including the sand, and extreme temperatures (between -12 and +60 degrees Celsius).

The 12.1-inch multitouch display with LED backlight, can be rotated if necessary to transform the XT2 XFR in a convenient tablet, the other main technical features include an Intel Core 2 Duo, DDR3 RAM memory expandable to 5 GB, a 4-cell battery (6 cells and even cells 9 are optional) and the possibility to choose between a hard drive and an SSD with support for data encryption.

Complement the features of this very particular handset, designed primarily for military use, a webcam, 3G modem, GPS and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. All for a starting weight of 2.45 kg and a thickness of 3.8 cm.

The Dell Latitude XFR XT2 will be available in Italy, the starting price is now $ 3599.
