iPhone 4: displays the difference between old and new iPhone
ByYesterday was officially launched at WWDC 2010, the new model of iPhone, dubbed iPhone 4. Among the many technologies that innovate, enhance and distinguish, it seems particularly interesting that applied to the screen. The display, called “Retinal Display”, offers an image quality and sharpness never before seen on a portable terminal, thanks to the number of pixels four times precent iPhone models.
The number of pixels per inch iswas increased to 326, with risolzione display 960 × 640 pixels, 400:1 contrast and IPS technology that provides sharper colors and deep, with a wider viewing angle. The details of the images are very clear and sharp. Just to show how this new display improves the usability of the iPhone, MobileCrunch editors have made an image comparing the old and new iPhone.
Opening the gallery you can see the image in highresolution. Take the App Store icon on one case and on the screen: note the definition of the lines of the icon itself, in addition to the depth of blue and stand out as small white lines. What do you think? It would have been nice if the image had put more detail in comparison, and more application icons alike to notice the most difference.
An interesting technique: the iPhone 4 were used 78% of pixelsused on the iPad.
