Samsung shows AMOLED displays for Notebook and Netbook

Samsung has presented a wide range of prototypes of AMOLED screens showing great interest in this promising technology that allows to realize very thin screens with high contrast.

In particular, Samsung has revealed the Hybrid Desktop Notebook a sort of cross between an all-in-one PC and a notebook with 14-inch AMOLED screen thickness of only 2.7 mm, WXGA resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, brightness 300 cd/m2 and a high contrast of 1,000,000:1.

Samsung also showed a Netbook with 7-inch AMOLED screen 16:9, resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, brightness of 300 cd/m2 and also in this case a contrast of 1,000,000:1.
