How to Repair a Scratched LCD TV: two councils do-it-yourself

By admin

Some time ago we saw how to clean effectively and in a few steps the surface of an LCD monitor: what to do, however, where the display has some scratches?

The first advice that I can give is to contact a specialist, or better yet, to support the parent of your display, which know best how to get around these cases.

However, the network will have several do-it-yourself guides that seem to have done in the case of many, and two methods on all seem to have yielded good results; carry them there in full, but I strongly suggest you think carefully before you use it, why not could always produce the desired effects.

* Method with the Vaseline: Clean the surface of the display, take the Vaseline and use it to fill the scratch, gently remove the excess Vaseline, being careful not to press too much to leave the right amount into the scratch;
* Method with the eraser: Take a pencil eraser that has included, that the rubber has never been used to clear as it could have some residual graphite lightly rub the eraser on the scratch until it disappears ( This method seems to work with minor scratches).

Apart from these two methods do-it-yourself, you can always buy in specialist shops specific products used in order if you want to be more confident of the results.
