Toshiba is also launching the new market of 32-inch Full-HD, with two models, whose differences are minimal. The 32XV505 costs less than 800 euros and is devoid of DVB-T HD, mounted instead on 32XV515, which costs an average of 950. The difference in price between the two is therefore attributable solely to the integrated digital terrestrial receiver arranged to receive high definition channels.

Design and finishing

A TV is built using plastic black lacquer finish and excellent chrome, a design classic and therefore in line with that of current LCD TVs.

Ergonomics

The 32XV515 uses the same OSD all Toshiba TV, and then allows you to manually adjust the black level. The remote is handy and well designed.

Envelope

Connectivity is in line with the standards. We have three HDMI digital inputs and the usual battery of video inputs. Not recommend the 505 version of the TV. Better to point to 515, with the DVB-T HD, and therefore already projected to future broadcasts in high definition.

Consumption

Consumption measured is quite high, in fact, the XV515 is the model that requires more energy from 5 tested: 139 W well to the brightness of 250 cd / m 2. The TV is devoid of the ambient light sensor and, despite the dynamic backlight, the power absorbed varies slightly depending on the type of image displayed on the screen.
