Plasma and LCD TV of the future: the Full HD quality
By
A vertical resolution of at least 720 horizontal lines (PAL system providing for 575), a 16:9 ratio between width and height, to receive input signals to digital high-definition (1,280 pixel X720 lines progressive scan lines and 1920 pixels x1.080 interlaced) input analog YPbPr (Component Video) and DVI digital connectors and / or HDMI.
But almost all models of televisions are HD Ready and then this feature is losing importance.
There are televisions on the market today that are called Full HD, that is full high definition.
There is no standard for defining a Full HD TV. Manufacturers typically give that status to televisions capable of reaching the maximum resolution allowed by the HDTV standard, equal to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels non-interlaced (abbreviated as 1080p).
If today, considering the satellite television and high-definition channels such as Sky, an HD-Ready TV is more than enough, the question changes with the viewing of films on supports HD-DVD or Blu-Ray. Considering that a TV should last for at least 5 years, buying a Full HD gains more sense.
